The first Meehan's Ale House opened on October 28th, 2002. And now Vinings has a great pub to provide that comfortable atmosphere to relax with your friends and have a good brew. Ken Prader, a master wood craftsman who has built several pubs in England, reproduced the decor of an old Irish ale house of the 1920's. Named for Steve Buero's grandmother, Meehan'sl brings gourmet pub food at reasonable prices and a good brew and spirits list to the west side of town.

Scott Crawford, who also oversees the kitchens at the other group restaurants, Food 101 and Mangia 101, will bring a touch of the Irish and traditional pub fares to the Ale House. Get ready for Irish smoked salmon, Guinness battered halibut, Irish stew and such great fare as Food 101's pot roast and meatloaf.
