Paddy's Irish Pub

Nestled in the north Georgia foothills, just 40 minutes north of Atlanta but a world away from the bustling city’s high rise concrete and steel jungle lies Château Élan Winery & Resort. The centerpiece of the resort is a 16th century French Château and Winery designed in the style of a royal retreat. Framed by 200 acres of lush vineyards, the Winery is the largest producer of premium and varietal wines in Georgia. With a 276 room Mobil Four-Star Inn, European-style Spa Mansion with 14 individually designed suites, Stan Smith Tennis Center, Equestrian Show Center, a cutting edge 25,000 square foot Conference Center, eight distinctive restaurants, and a resort residential community, Château Élan is truly one of a kind.

Paddy’s Irish Pub, one of the 8 restaurants, is a reconstructed authentic pub straight from the Emerald Isle.

Paddy’s Irish Pub was officially commissioned in Ireland in 1997 by Château Élan Winery & Resort founders, Dr. Donald and Nancy Panoz. Cantrell & Crowley, a Dublin based architectural and interior design firm designed and built the pub. The Panoz’s who lived and worked in Ireland for 20 years running the famed Élan Pharmaceuticals, commissioned Paddy’s as a reminder of their fond experiences in the auld sod. Completely authentic, all of Paddy’s furnishings and fixtures were created in Ireland. The pub was then shipped to Château Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia, reassembled here, and opened in July of 1997. Paddy’s is a spirited pub serving up traditional Irish food, beverage and entertainment.
